qualified and experienced Person In Charge interesting in working in a

Our holiday home is located in the Gorey area of Wexford, situated on

companies delivery of high quality services. The appointed Person In
Charge is expected to lead this team of excellence, creating an
inclusive and positive culture within the service and implement the
ethos and values of the company for the benefit of the guests and the
teams.
OVERVIEW OF THE POST:
The purpose of the role is to lead and work as part of a dedicated and
innovative team in a respite-based house providing high quality,
person-led support to people with a range of intellectual abilities
and/or diagnosis of ASD, within a quality framework. The team will
comprise of Social Care Workers, Nurse Supports and Social Support
Workers all reporting directly to the Person in Charge, who will
ensure that all regulatory obligations and standards are being
implemented, maintained and improved on at all times.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
_ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:_
* Ordinary BA In Applied Social Studies in Social Care QQI Level 7
* Open Training College National BA in Applied Studies
(Disabilities) QQI Level 7
* Recognized Social Care qualification QQI Level 7 or equivalent
* Knowledgeable of the National Standards
_DESIRABLE CRITERIA:_
* Honours BA In applied Social Studies in Social Care QQI Level 8
* Open Training College National BA in Applied Studies QQI Level 8
* Recognized Social Care Qualification QQI Level 8 or equivalent
* Experience of working with adults with a range of intellectual
abilities and ASD

* A MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATION
* MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS IN A SUPERVISORY POSITION
